About The Food Bank of Manatee

The Food Bank of Manatee provides nutritional assistance and caring supportive services to individuals in need throughout Manatee County by distributing food to non-profit agencies including food pantries, soup kitchens, and churches. Families in crisis situations can receive food packages on a temporary basis, as well as infant care baskets with formula, diapers, wipes and other baby essentials. Pet food also is available.

Good Deeds

October 18, 2016- The Gives Back Foundation sponsored The Food Bank of Manatee Care & Share event Sept 14th at Hope Church in Palmetto. The event benefitted over 863 people and fed 238 families, with 9,684 pounds of donated food.

On Oct 5th Axiom Bank sponsored The Food Bank of Manatee Care & Share event at Manatee Baptist Church, with 17 Axiom Bank volunteers. The event benefitted more than 793 people and fed 208 families, with 8,000 pounds of donated food.
